Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent with 6 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate complex processes and datasets.
  • Ability to problem-solve related to process optimization and digitalization.
  • High attention to detail, able to document and present findings clearly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, and forecasting, inventory analysis, and MRP concepts.
  • Basic understanding of supply chain principles including planning, inventory management, demand forecasting, and MRP.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and maintain MRP strategies to align supply with demand forecasts and vendor shipment schedules.
  • Ensure material availability while balancing cost, risk, and inventory targets.
  • Assess demand trends, raw material shifts, and capacity constraints to mitigate supply risks.
  • Develop and maintain robust supply forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market intelligence.
  • Guide inventory targets, factory build plans, and material purchase strategies aligned with revenue plans.
  • Manage inventory accuracy, allocations, and E&O risk.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Business Units, Supply Chain, Quality, and Logistics.
  • Support communication with strategic customers regarding supply, demand alignment, and capacity constraints.
  • Analyze demand, supply, and shipment data to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Partner with business teams on Power BI reporting and dashboard development.

Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and detailed-oriented individual to join our Wafer Fab Material/Supply team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in helping improve material planning efficiencies. You will work closely with our supply chain and material team members to analyze current processes and contribute to solutions that enhance material management and planning performance and streamline operations. This is an excellent learning opportunity in the following areas:

  • Gain hands on experience in a cutting edge semiconductor manufacturing environment.
  • Work closely with industry professionals and receive mentorship from experienced engineers.
  • Gain exposure to real world applications of process improvement and digital transformation in manufacturing operations.
  • Contribute to meaningful projects that directly impact manufacturing efficiency, productivity, and operational performance.
  • Develop both technical and soft skills, including problem solving, communication, data analysis, and basic project management.

Temporary assignment or 3 - 6 months.

Responsibilities
  • Supply Planning & MRP: Develop, execute, and maintain MRP strategies to align supply with demand forecasts and vendor shipment schedules.
  • Supply Planning & MRP: Ensure material availability while balancing cost, risk, and inventory targets.
  • Supply Planning & MRP: Proactively assess demand trends, raw material shifts, and capacity constraints to mitigate supply risks and prevent shortages or excess inventory.
  • Forecasting & Inventory Management: Develop and maintain robust supply forecasts using statistical models, historical data, and market intelligence.
  • Forecasting & Inventory Management: Guide inventory targets, factory build plans, and material purchase strategies aligned with revenue plans.
  • Forecasting & Inventory Management: Manage inventory accuracy, allocations, and Excess & Obsolete (E&O) risk.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Operations, Business Units, Supply Chain, Quality, and Logistics to align demand and supply plans.
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Support communication with strategic customers regarding supply, demand alignment, and capacity constraints.
  • Data & Continuous Improvement: Analyze demand, supply, and shipment data to identify risks, opportunities, and trade offs.
  • Data & Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Data & Continuous Improvement: Partner with business teams on Power BI reporting and dashboard development to improve visibility and decision making.
Required Experience and Skills
  • HS diploma or equivalent with 6 years of experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate complex processes and datasets to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
  • Capable of critical thinking and independent problem‑solving related to process optimization and digitalization initiatives.
  • High attention to detail, with demonstrated ability to document, analyze, and present findings clearly and accurately.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools such as Power BI, and experience with forecasting, inventory analysis, and MRP concepts.
  • Basic understanding or prior exposure to supply chain principles, including manufacturing processes, planning, inventory management, demand forecasting, and material requirements planning (MRP).
Desired Experience and Skills
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Business analytics, Supply Chain, or Engineering management -focuses on Operations, Supply chain or Business analytics
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Working knowledge or exposure to ERP, MRP systems, including SAP.
  • Programming or scripting experience with Python, SQL, VBA, or similar languages.
  • Relevant coursework or internship experience in supply chain, Business analytics, or process optimization.
