BioMérieux is seeking a Senior Material Handler to manage the efficient handling, movement, shipping, and receiving of materials within a warehouse environment in Hazelwood, MO.
The role supports Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality, collaborating with multiple teams to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with cGMP, ISO, and FDA guidelines. The position may involve driving a truck and training peers.
The Senior Material Handler is responsible for the accurate and efficient handling, movement, shipping, and receiving of materials, including inventory checks. The role supports key areas such as Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality, and is integral in meeting division goals. This role interacts with various internal teams (Sales Admin, Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Material Handling, Planning) and may impact both internal processes and external customer satisfaction.
Work is performed primarily in a warehouse/logistics environment. Must be able to wear required PPE, operate heavy machinery, ascend and descend stairs and ladders, and lift and move up to 50 pounds.
The pay for this role is $17.50/hr. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. Actual compensation within this range is determined based on the successful candidate’s experience and will be presented in writing at the time of the offer.
