Job summary

HOK in Seattle seeks an experienced marketing professional to manage the end-to-end pursuit process, produce compelling proposals, respond to RFPs/RFQs, and coordinate client questionnaires, government forms and qualifying statements. You will collaborate with marketing managers and practice leaders to set priorities and timelines for proposals and collateral.

You will lead deliverable timelines, arrange meetings, coordinate consultant outreach, and mentor junior staff while ensuring brand

Qualifications

• Equivalent of bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
• 10 plus years marketing experience in architecture, interior design, engineering, construction or real estate development.
• Experience in producing marketing materials and graphics for professional services.

Responsibilities

• Manages, produces, and ensures the delivery of top quality, on-time and effective submittal of RFP/RFQs and forms; drafts or edits technical answers.
• Collaborates with marketing manager and practice leaders to set priorities and protocols for responding to inquiries.
• Leads deliverable timelines, outlines pursuits, schedules meetings, and coordinates consultant outreach.
• Manages interview prep, content creation, and ensures materials and locations are prepared.
• Provides initial graphic mock-ups and helps write/update proposals, project narratives, resumes, and collateral.
• Gathers information about prospects and supports proposal strategy with marketing staff across offices.
• Establishes timelines and assignments to complete marketing deliverables.
• Coordinates information from consultant firms for proposals or presentations.
• Supports marketing manager and participates in photoshoots of completed projects.
• Maintains marketing resources and databases and ensures supplies and equipment are ready.
• Fosters commitment to external and internal client service.
• Coordinates with firmwide communications on social media and external messages.
• Mentors and may direct work of less experienced marketing staff.
• Assist with QA/QC to ensure well-coordinated submissions that comply with client requirements and HOK brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides input and collaborates with marketing manager and practice leaders to help establish priorities and protocols for responding to RFPs, RFQ's and other marketing related inquires.
• Leads deliverable timeline including, outlining pursuit, scheduling meetings, and consultant outreach and engagement.
• managing internal interview preparation ensuring schedule is followed, content creation, ensuring all support materials, collateral and meeting locations are in place.
• Provides the initial graphic mock-up and helps write and/or update content for proposals including project narratives, resumes, and specialty collateral for marketing purposes.
• Gathers information about prospects and participates in proposal strategy in support of firm's principals and other marketing professionals. Interacts with marketing staff in other HOK offices to obtain/exchange information as needed.
• Establishes and manages timelines and assignments as needed to complete effective marketing deliverables.
• Coordinates or obtains information needed from consultant firms to be included in proposals or presentations.
• Supports marketing manager and participates in photoshoots of completed projects
• Maintains marketing resources and databases including qualifications, project narratives, personnel resumes, data, presentations, photographs, files, mailing lists, and client database.
• Sees that supplies and equipment for marketing efforts are maintained and ready to go at a moment’s notice.
• Fosters a commitment to external and internal client service.
• Coordinates with firmwide communications on social media and external messages.
• Mentors and may direct the work of less experienced marketing staff.
• Assist with QA/QC to ensure well-coordinated submissions that comply with client’s requirements and HOK brand standards
