Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a senior Lean Manufacturing professional in Mesa, AZ to lead initiatives that optimize safety, quality, delivery, and cost across manufacturing operations. You will drive line balancing, standardized work, pull systems, and WIP optimization while coaching cross‑functional teams in lean tools.

The role partners with production leadership to boost throughput and capacity, using PDCA and root cause analysis to deliver sustainable improvements. Travel is required 5–15%.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 5–8 years related experience
  • Master’s degree with 2–5 years equivalent industry experience
  • PhD with 0–2 years experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and operational performance.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, Rapid Improvement Workshops, and Value Stream Mapping.
  • Improve manufacturing flow through line balancing, standardized work, pull systems, and WIP optimization.
  • Partner with production leadership to improve throughput, productivity, and capacity.
  • Coach teams on Lean tools, PDCA, A3 Thinking, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Collaborate across EHSS, Quality, Manufacturing Operations, Process, Equipment & Industrial Engineering, and MES.
