Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a senior cost management professional to lead cost strategies across key commodities and drive multi‑year cost‑reduction roadmaps. You will partner with Sourcing, Engineering, Operations and Finance to deliver measurable savings and robust cost models.

The role requires advanced forecasting and strong communication skills to influence leadership. Travel up to 10% and mentorship of junior analysts are expected.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years’ experience.
  • 1+ years experience delivering measurable cost‑reduction results.
  • 1+ years experience with financial forecasting.
  • 1+ years experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and supplier‑facing engagements.
  • Ability to communicate complex cost drivers and insights clearly to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time.

This individual will ensure that Power & Controls Supply Chain meets it's organization cost and financial targets.

What You Will Do

  • Knowledge of supply‑chain risk management and market‑intelligence practices.
  • Data management skills and experience with Excel (V-lookups, Pivot tables, etc) and Power Point.
  • A general understanding of Aerospace drawings, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
  • Knowledge of export/ITC regulations and policies is preferred as well over a basic knowledge of RTX work transfer standard work (COL 0008).
  • Technical degree and MBA degree.
  • 8+ years’ experience in a program management or cost reduction or supply chain role or Mechanical manufacturing in the Aerospace Industry.
  • Experience with SAP.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

This position is classified as: Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). If you live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role.
