The Senior Manager responsibilities are similar to those of Managers, with an expected higher level of performance and judgment.Senior Managers are responsible for ownership/In-Charge of complex engagements for affordable housing real estate clients, with a focus on Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) entities. Individuals in this role are expected to monitor, develop, train, and fully utilize each staff member on their assigned team to complete the assigned tasks. Senior Managers may review all levels of work within designated expertise, and sign-off on simple engagements as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
Experience: 9+ years' experience in public accounting required, including significant experience serving affordable housing, real estate, and/or LIHTC clients
Professional Certification: CPA required.
Specialized knowledge: Deep knowledge of partnership taxation, affordable housing accounting, LIHTC structures, and real estate financial reporting required. Familiarity with HUD, RD, and state housing authority reporting preferred.
Role is based in WI.
