Job summary

Aldevron, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Senior Manager Production Reliability and Infrastructure Services to lead facilities maintenance, metrology, and infrastructure services at the Fargo site. This on-site role reports to the VP of Manufacturing and guides a team across multiple facilities disciplines.

You will drive continuous improvement, coach leaders, coordinate external vendors, ensure compliant equipment, and prepare for inspections to support world-class manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years experience in facilities/metrology with at least 3 years in people leadership.
• Experience in lean/DBS tools (PSP, Kaizen, Daily Management, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and manage activities related to Fargo physical plants and equipment maintenance.
• Lead a team of people leaders in production maintenance, infrastructure services, and metrology.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement within teams to improve metrics like right first time, downtime, and on-time delivery.
• Coordinate actions of outside vendors for facility/equipment maintenance and repair; be the primary Aldevron contact for vendors.
• Ensure compliant, functioning equipment and spaces across Fargo sites; work with ops leaders on maintenance, calibrations, external services.
• Act as SME for Facilities Management, environmental and machine controls, and metrology calibration for readiness for inspections.

The Senior Manager Production Reliability and Infrastructure Services

is responsible for the maintenance of and continuous improvement to the facilities, equipment, and services that Aldevron uses to provide breakthrough materials to clients all around the world. This position reports to the VP, Manufacturing and is part of the Operations team located in Fargo, ND and will be an on-site role.

• Plan, organize, direct, and manage activities related to Fargo physical plants and equipment maintenance.
• Lead a team of people leaders in production maintenance, infrastructure services, and metrology.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement within teams to help with numerous metrics, such as right first time, downtime, and on time delivery.
• Coordinate the actions of outside vendors required for facility/equipment maintenance and repair with the appropriate Aldevron managers of affected areas. Serve as the main Aldevron point of contact for these vendors.
• Ensure compliant, functioning equipment and spaces across all Fargo sites, working with operations leaders on maintenance, calibrations, external services etc. to ensure timely and minimally disruptive repairs/improvements.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert for all activities related to Facilities Management, environmental and machine controls for all areas, as well as metrology and calibration of equipment, in a constant state of readiness for inspection.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelors degree required
• 8+ years experience in facilities/metrology with at least 3 years in people leadership
• Ability to coach and develop a team of people leaders
• Experience in lean/DBS tools (PSP, Kaizen, Daily Management, etc.)

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb, any other physical requirements Ability to travel –10% travel possible, overnight, within territory or location

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in a GMP/regulated manufacturing environment
• Industrial scale facility maintenance experience
• Experience with Metrology related to sensitive bioprocessing instrumentation
