Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager, Product Management to lead the AWS FinOps Agent product team. You will own high-ambiguity bets, hire and coach PMs, and drive strategy for agentic cost management experiences at scale.
In this role you will work with engineering, science, and leadership to shape AI-powered FinOps features, assess traces and eval results, and ensure measurable customer value across enterprise and developers managing billions in cloud spend.
We're building the future of cloud financial management by making FinOps autonomous, intelligent, and agent-native. The AWS Billing organization processes millions of events per second to deliver cost, usage, and optimization insights that power the financial decisions of the world's largest enterprises. We're now transforming how customers interact with this data, moving from dashboards and reports to agentic experiences that continuously understand, control, and optimize AWS spend on their behalf.
As Senior Manager, Product Management, you'll be a player-coach leading the product team responsible for AWS FinOps Agent. You'll personally own the highest-ambiguity, highest-leverage product bets — the ones that define the category and set the technical direction for the rest of the team — while simultaneously hiring, coaching, and growing a group of Product Managers who own the agentic workflows and cloud financial management capabilities around them. You'll write the strategy documents, run the customer conversations, and make the hard trade‑off calls yourself on the problems that matter most, and you'll build the mechanisms and bar that let your PMs do the same on everything else.
In this role, you'll set the vision for making AWS the most agent‑friendly cloud for financial management and be hands‑on in the product work that brings it to life. You'll draft the PR/FAQs for the most strategic launches, dig into agent traces and eval results alongside your applied scientists, and pressure‑test API and interface designs directly with engineering. At the same time, you'll establish the product strategy that governs how generative AI transforms cost management workflows across your team's surface area, own the measurement and continuous improvement of the AI‑powered FinOps experience, and build the review mechanisms that hold your org — and yourself — accountable to it. You'll make the calls on when to adopt, extend, or build new approaches to emerging agent frameworks, reasoning models, and interface patterns, and you'll expect your PMs to do the same within their scope. You'll partner with engineering leaders, applied science leaders, and peer product leaders across AWS to ensure AWS FinOps Agent delivers measurable value to customers, from individual developers optimizing a single account to enterprise CFOs managing billions in cloud spend. You'll represent the product to senior AWS leadership, enterprise customers, and industry analysts, and you'll drive alignment on strategy and investment across multiple organizations — often by rolling up your sleeves and doing the work yourself when the situation calls for it. This role requires strong people leadership, the willingness and technical depth to still operate as an individual contributor on the hardest problems, and the judgment to know which mode the moment demands. If you're a product leader who refuses to stop building, who gets energy from both growing PMs and personally shipping category‑defining products, and who is excited about defining how generative AI transforms enterprise FinOps, this role offers the opportunity to shape AWS's agent‑first cost intelligence strategy and the organization that delivers it.
