Job summary

Mars is seeking a Packaging Simplification, Senior Manager to lead global transformation initiatives in the packaging category, delivering structural cost reductions and governance-ready supplier partnerships. This two-year project requires strong procurement leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

You will partner with R&D, Supply, and external consultants to set the strategic agenda and drive fast, tangible savings while navigating Mars' Five Principles.

• Spend Better Leadership: Lead the global program of structural cost savings for the packaging category, partnering with R&D, Supply, third party consultants to set the strategic agenda and drive execution at pace.
• Drive Category Transformation: Lead pre-defined strategic initiatives that drive the category forward including a key program on print methodology and color.
• Manage Strategic Relationships: Lead the roll out of global strategic deal contracts and governance across the Mars enterprise within Packaging.

Job Description: As Packaging Simplification, Senior Manager you will help lead a number of critical transformation initiatives in Mars Snacking as our packaging portfolio changes over the coming years. You will be accountable for identifying and delivering global structural cost reduction initiatives, lead critical change initiatives and also set up some of our most critical supplier partnerships up for success from a governance and planning perspective. This role is globally focused and is critical to unlock the change needed in the Packaging category. This is a 2 year project.

What are we looking for?

8 years procurement experience. Demonstrated ability in leading global change initiatives. Strong capabilities in supplier relationship management. Expertise in internal stakeholder communications and management.

Compensation & Benefits

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment. The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 119,040.00 - USD 163,680.00
