Job summary

Vince in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Merchandising Leader to partner with leadership on seasonal line planning for Women’s Main and MFO channels. You will analyze sell-through with cross-functional partners and shape pricing strategies to align with margins and market position.

You’ll collaborate across Design, Sales, Product Development and Production, driving data-driven decisions, trends awareness, and balanced assortments for global markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5–7 years of merchandising experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop price tiers and pricing architecture to guide design.
  • Identify growth opportunities by category and style.
  • Set wholesale and retail price points based on margins and value.
  • Edit line with design for balanced global assortment.
  • Guide bulk buy process to reflect strategy and timelines.
  • Bridge design, sales, product development and production across functions.
  • Shop the market for trends, pricing, and market share.
  • Assist in creating seasonal line plans by delivery and style/SKU.
  • Assist in developing price tiers and pricing architecture.
  • Collaborate to build balanced lines for Women’s Main and MFO.
  • Develop analytical models and processes to measure retail performance.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:
  • Partner with the VP of Merchandising to create and implement seasonal line plan by delivery and style/SKU to achieve business strategies
  • Gather and analyze sell through hindsighting from global cross-functional partners
  • Develop price tiers and pricing architecture to guide Design in furthering the women’s line
  • Identify key items and growth opportunities by category and style
  • Establish wholesale and retail price points based on margin targets and perceived price value
  • Edit line with Design to build a balanced assortment covering global market needs and Design’s vision
  • Guide bulk buy process to communicate Design’s vision and ensure it reflects business strategy and hits production timeline
  • Communicate cross-functionally to bridge Design, Sales, Product Development and Production to ensure cohesive processes
  • Shop the market to be aware of trends, competitive price positioning, and market share
  • Assist the Merchandising team with the creation and implementation of seasonal line plans by delivery and style/SKU to achieve business strategies
  • Assist in the development of price tiers and pricing architecture
  • Work in partnership with the head of Merchandising to build balanced lines for Women’s Main line and MFO channels, based on empirical data and sales analyses
  • Collaborate with head of Merchandising to develop analytical models, systems, and processes to manage, measure, and evaluate retail (& wholesale) performance
  • Partner closely with planning team to track seasonal sales orders ensuring optimal procurement levels
  • Analyzes historical data, current business trends, and management insight to develop accurate class financial forecasts
  • Develops pre-season assortment plans that tie back to the monthly procurement targets and financial budget plans
  • Track and monitor key items and growth opportunities by category and style
  • Communicate cross-functionally to bridge Design, Sales, Product Development and Production to ensure cohesive processes
  • Assist in creating and maintaining weekly/monthly cross-functional reporting tools
  • Additional ad hoc projects and responsibilities as required to support the Merchandising department
Qualifications/Experience We’re Looking For:
  • Must have a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must have a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant merchandising experience
  • Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Must have strong business acumen with ability to think strategically
  • Must have exceptional analytical skills
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented
  • Must have proven ability to work with a cross-functional team
  • Strong knowledge of trends and competitive market are essential to success in this position
