• Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling pitches, executive briefing materials, and media messaging.
• Fluency with AI tools and the ability to apply them to sharpen research, media monitoring, and content development, while preserving judgment and relationships.
• Experience working directly with senior executives and preparing them for high-profile media engagements.
• A collaborative mindset, with experience working across marketing, communications, and technical teams.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.

About the Role:

As a Senior Manager of Media Relations, you will help shape and amplify narratives around CrowdStrike’s products, business, and executives, driving high-impact earned media coverage that advances the company’s objectives and market position. This role reports to the Senior Director of Public Relations and Media Strategy. It requires a results-driven cybersecurity media relations specialist with deep industry knowledge, established relationships with top-tier media, and a proven ability to proactively develop and place compelling stories that resonate with customers, investors, and the broader market. You’ll work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify newsworthy opportunities, develop differentiated narratives, and build relationships with influential reporters across cybersecurity, technology, business, and financial media. Placement within the pay range is dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, job level, supervisory status, and location. The base salary range for this position for all U.S. candidates is $130,000 - $200,000 per year, with eligibility for bonuses, equity grants and a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, 401k and paid time off.
