Job summary

CDK Global is seeking a Sr. Manager, Identity and Access Management to lead IAM strategy, architecture, and operations for our cloud-based SaaS platform serving dealerships and OEMs in the United States.

The role is remote with flexibility to work from Hoffman Estates, IL or Austin, TX as needed. You will build governance, manage IAM tools and machine identities, implement PAM and IGA patterns, and provide 24x7 support while aligning with risk and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 8+ years IAM experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role in security operations.
• Experience securing Microsoft 365 environments.
• Strong background in PAM in hybrid on-prem/cloud environments.
• Experience with user lifecycle automation and IGA tools.
• Experience coordinating with product and platform teams on secrets management.

Responsibilities

• Lead IAM team and strategy within risk and compliance framework.
• Develop and implement IAM governance, PAM, and IGA security standards.
• Architect and operate IAM, PAM, IGA, and Secrets Management solutions.

By automating and streamlining critical workflows, the integrated platform of modern solutions enables dealers to sell and service more vehicles by creating simple and convenient experiences for customers and improves their financial and operational performance. **Position Summary:**The Sr. Manager, Identity and Access Management is accountable for provisioning, authenticating, and securing user, machine, and admin identities, as well as provisioning the right level of access in the right scenario and at the right time. **Key Responsibilities:**1. Leadership & Strategy:* Exemplify security principles and culture* Develop and implement and robust identity and access management security strategy* Effectively partner across security, technology, and business teams* Lead the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, manage Identity and Access Management technology and services* Develop effective IAM metrics and use them to drive improvements 2. Identity and Access Management Security Standards:* Develop and continuously improve Identity and Access Governance, Privileged Access Management security standards and guidelines in alignment with risk and compliance requirements* Develop and continuously improve machine identity and secrets management standards and guidelines in alignment with risk and compliance requirements* Measure and report on CDK’s compliance with the above defined security standards* Drive adoption of the security standards through close partnership with technology teams, leading design and implementation of new technologies, and building new or improving existing processes3. Identity and Access Management Security Architecture and Engineering:* Architect, design, build, implement, and operate IAM, PAM, IGA, and Secrets Management solutions* Architect, design, and consult on secure machine identity and secrets management architectural patterns to be used in modern applications and cloud environments* Develop and implement effective privileged access architecture and strategies to reduce security risk* Develop and implement an IGA strategy to automatically provision the right level of access to our users, maintain the right level of access through organizational and technology changes, and de-provision accounts at the right time* Collaborate with product and technology teams on developing and implementing effective secrets management solutions4. Identity and Access Management Security Operations:* Develop and operate processes for user account lifecycle management, Authentication, Authorization, and secrets management.* Collaborate with Security Operations team to assure effective security monitoring and response capabilities for CDK identity* Provide 24x7 tier 2/3 support for identity technologies **Required Qualifications:** Education:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred); or an equivalent experience Experience:* Minimum of 8 years in identity and access management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role in security operations.* Experience with securing Microsoft 365 environments* Strong background in privileged access management in hybrid on-premises/cloud environments, preferably in a technology/SaaS organization.* Extensive experience in user lifecycle automation and access provisioning/validation automation – using modern IGA tools* Experience collaborating with product and platform teams on secrets management to support application development and deployment. Base Compensation: $190,000 - $225,000CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
