Job summary

Capital One National Association is seeking a Sr. Manager, HRBP to partner with Finance clients and deliver on people initiatives and talent strategy.

The role emphasizes strong relationship-building, executive coaching, and influencing skills within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The individual will consult with clients, HR partners, and analytics teams to shape HR processes and reporting, while aligning HR solutions to business imperatives and workforce needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5+ years of client-facing or consulting experience OR 5+ years in HR
• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients, HRBPs and partner groups to create and execute on people strategy, HR processes, and reporting
• Partner with clients to manage stakeholders and align HR solutions with business needs
• Coach people managers on leadership, org design, and performance improvement
• Provide strategic consulting and workforce planning for Finance client groups

The HRX team is looking for a Sr. Manager, HRBP to work with the Finance clients to deliver on people initiatives and talent strategy. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong relationship building, executive coaching and influencing skills, communication, and problem solving skills; who thrives in a fast paced, collaborative, and values-oriented team.

• Consult with clients, other HRBPs, and HR partner groups (people analytics, recruiting, compensation, tech talent, AR, diversity & inclusion) to effectively create and execute on people strategy, HR processes, and reporting
• Partner with clients to build effective relationships, effectively manage stakeholders, and understand business imperatives to effectively execute on HR solutions that are aligned to the business needs
• Consult with associates, managers, and HR partners who require assistance on HR-related issues
• Coach people managers on situations including general leadership skills (leveraging Capital One's Include/Empower/Inspire framework), org design, performance concerns
• Responsible for providing strategic consulting and workforce planning to client groups within Finance and delivering an HR strategy that is aligned with the business needs
• Support the planning and delivery of core HR processes ranging from performance & talent management, leadership development, to change management and organizational design (including spans and layers work)
• Support senior leaders on key areas such as building an inclusive and diverse team, creating a culture of belonging, and acting as a sounding board for all associates to encourage cross pollination, collaboration, and high performance

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
• At least 5 years of client facing experience OR at least 5 years of consulting experience OR a combination
• At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
• MBA or Master’s degree
• Professional Human Resources Certification or Senior Professional Human Resources certification or coaching certification
• 7+ years of client facing experience or 7+ years of consulting experience or a combination
• 7+ years of experience in Human Resources

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
