Blue Origin LLC in the Seattle area seeks a Senior Software Development Manager to lead a team building AI-driven Manufacturing Execution Systems. You will steer design, simulation, and analysis tools using the latest generative AI technologies to accelerate hardware lifecycles.

You will collaborate with customers and partners to deliver a Physical AI roadmap, supervise delivery with strong ownership, and mentor future leaders while ensuring safe spaceflight-focused software quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software and systems engineering experience
• 3+ years leading development teams
• 2+ years building products that use or incorporate large language models
• 5+ years building products that apply machine learning and AI
• Experience with GenAI state-of-the-art systems (agent memory, retrieval augmented generation, knowledge graphs)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high accountability and ownership
• Willingness to travel up to 10%
• U.S. citizenship or eligible status for work in the U.S.

Responsibilities
