Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a Sr. Manager, Financial Operations (Oncology Division) to partner with leadership, transform financial data into insights, and scale a fast-growing healthcare platform. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, monthly reviews, and investor reporting while developing KPIs and dynamic models.

You will collaborate across Strategy, Operations, Clinical, and Accounting teams to support executive decision-making and drive performance for a nationwide network of practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Finance/Business/Economics/Accounting).
  • 5–7+ years of financial leadership or financial operations experience, including direct responsibility for executive materials and presentations.
  • Experience in healthcare, physician practices, or PE-backed portfolios preferred.
  • Workday Adaptive Planning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership with forward-looking financial analysis to aid decision-making.
  • Develop, validate, and explain key financial trends and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to improve processes and drive productivity initiatives.
  • Support annual budgeting and monthly tracking of budget initiatives.
  • Coordinate monthly close with accounting and prepare detailed performance reviews for practices.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts and variance analyses for executives and boards.

Job Description:

The Sr. Manager, Financial Operations (Oncology Division) will report to the Director of Financial Operations and play a highly visible role supporting OneOncology's leadership team. This position is ideal for a finance leader who enjoys partnering across the organization, influencing strategic decisions, and helping scale a fast-growing healthcare platform. Working closely with Strategic Finance, Operations, Clinical, and Accounting leaders, you will transform complex financial and operational data into actionable insights that drive business performance. You'll lead key financial planning processes—including the annual budgeting cycle, forecasting, monthly business reviews, and investor reporting—while developing meaningful KPIs, identifying emerging trends, and building dynamic financial models that support executive decision-making. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership within OneOncology and the practices OneOncology serves, along with the opportunity to influence initiatives across one of the nation's leading oncology platforms. As OneOncology continues its rapid growth, this position provides a clear path for increased responsibility and career advancement within the finance organization for individuals who demonstrate strong performance, leadership, and strategic thinking.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide OneOncology and practice leadership with forward-looking information to assist with their decision-making responsibilities
  • Develop, validate, challenge, and explain key financial trends, indicators and performance
  • Work with key stakeholders to improve processes and drive productivity initiatives
  • Support the annual practice budget process as well as monthly tracking of budget initiatives and attainment
  • Integrate with the practice accounting team to support efficient monthly financials preparation and close, along with development of detailed monthly performance review package for each practice
  • Development and preparation of organizational and practice-specific monthly forecasts, variance analysis, internal and external financial presentations
  • Creation and distribution of weekly, monthly, and quarterly information to the Executive Leadership Team, the Board of Directors, and operational leadership
  • Assess need for (and implementation of) financial system reporting tools
  • Manage a team of 1-2 Financial Operations analysts
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
Required or Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably Finance, Business, Economics, or Accounting)
  • 5-7+ years of broad financial leadership or financial operations experience – including direct responsibility for preparation of executive materials and executive presentations required
  • Experience working within the healthcare industry, with physician practices, or within a private equity-backed portfolio company strongly preferred
  • Workday Adaptive Planning experience a plus

  • Highly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and other planning applications
  • Ability to condense disparate information into a concise message for senior leaders

  • Must be able to work in a fast growing, rapidly evolving business, often with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong prioritization and project management skills required
  • Passion for accuracy in reporting data to the business
