Job summary

Owens & Minor seeks a Sr. Manager, Financial Business Process to lead automation and process improvements in finance.

You will partner with Finance, business stakeholders, and IT to define requirements and implement scalable solutions that boost efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate translates complex business needs into technology, guides cross‑functional teams, and creates clear process documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial business processes to identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
  • Partner with Finance, business users, and IT to gather requirements and define scope.
  • Translate business requirements into functional and system specifications.
  • Lead design, configuration, testing, and implementation of new and enhanced systems.
  • Identify gaps and recommend technology solutions or alternative approaches.
  • Lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, requirements, and system materials.
  • Support system testing, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT development teams.
  • Provide guidance on financial systems and technology solutions.
  • Drive continuous improvement to ensure scalable, cost-effective solutions.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $130K-150K. Base salary. The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.

Sr. Manager, Financial Business Process

The Sr. Manager, Financial Business Process leads initiatives that improve financial business processes through technology, automation, and process optimization. This role partners closely with Finance, business stakeholders, and IT to identify opportunities, define requirements, and implement scalable solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and business performance. The ideal candidate is a strategic problem solver who can translate complex business needs into effective technology solutions and lead cross‑functional teams through process and system improvements.

Key Responsibilities
