RTX has an opening for a Sr. Manager, Facilities - Project Delivery/Team Building (Sr. Manger, Facilities) position.

The Metro area facilities manager position is responsible for leading, managing, maintaining, and overseeing all aspects of facilities site operations in the Metro DC Area; supporting over 1.5M sq ft.

What You Will Do

• Implementation of operations & maintenance, engineering and sustainability initiatives.
• Engaging with the site executive to execute site level strategies and implement workplace moves and rearranges
• Partner with the Business Relationship Managers, Workplace Strategy Managers and Project Delivery Managers within Facilities & Real Estate to ensure work is completed in a professional, timely, and cost-efficient manner.
• Responsible for ensuring a safe, flexible, efficient, and clean workplace.
• Ensure the execution of day-to-day operations and ensure small demand projects are successfully completed to customer satisfaction.
• Significant interactions with the local business leadership, and other RTX functional organizations including Digital Technology, Security, Environmental Health and Safety, internal customers, suppliers, and government compliance officials.
• Support site audits and ensuring compliance.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Minimum of 10+ years’ experience leading a Facilities / Real Estate organization and a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations or Business or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
• 8+ years experience in a fast paced, high consequence environment that included multiple organizations and contractors including extensive experience building strong cross-functional teams with proven results.
• 8+ years' Experience in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, MS Project, etc.).
• 8+ years' experience negotiating difficult business challenges, supplier management, critical infrastructure systems operations and maintenance in a high consequence environment; organization and personnel development; operating and capital budget development and management; quality and process improvement.
• 3+ years' experience with financial management experience with a multi-million-dollar budget
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with DOD and SCI Physical Security practices, Environmental Health & Safety/OHSA standards and Information Technology standards Knowledge of facility design and work management systems.
• Experience with Facilities Operations and Maintenance industry Best Practices.
• Demonstrates strong communication skills, clearly conveying expectations, priorities, and organizational goals to employees at all levels.

The salary range for this role is 145,600 USD - 276,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
