Job summary

Telix Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Sr Manager, Facilities and Supply Chain to lead continuous improvement in a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing environment in Angleton, Texas. You will align facility operations with ITG site goals and support international logistics.

The role collaborates with Operations, Quality, R&D and Telix Global Supply Chain, and requires 8+ years in GMP manufacturing with leadership, plus experience in radiopharmaceuticals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science or pharmacy field, or equivalent GMP manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in pharma/biotech GMP with +3 years of leadership experience.
• Experience working with R&D, Operations and Quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead Operational Excellence strategy for facilities and services.
• Develop budgets and objectives for facility services and maintenance.
• Ensure GMP procedures are followed by personnel and contractors.
• Maintain consistent management of GMP equipment and metrology.
• Coordinate outbound logistics for radiopharmaceuticals and devices.

The Sr Manager, Facilities and Supply Chain will lead and implement a culture of continuous improvement across the facilities and supply chain department within a radiopharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with the Operations and Quality teams in establishing the long-term facility operations strategy for the ITG site. This role will work with Telix Global Supply Chain to support supply chain and logistics standards for products coming to or leaving ITG. The role is on-site, located in Angleton Texas.

Key Accountabilities

• Drive the Operational Excellence strategy aligned with corporate goals.
• Support the development and implementation of goals and objectives and associated budgets for all facility services and maintenance programs.
• Ensure that procedures are in place for cGMP and daily activities and are followed by area personnel and contractors.
• Ensures consistent management and maintenance practices throughout the facilities and sites with regards to services provided.
• Provide support as required, including outside of normal working hours to maintain continuous and compliant (safety, quality, etc.) facility operations at the site.
• Provide expertise and resources for analytical and manufacturing equipment installation and qualification. Experience with typical radiopharmaceutical equipment (radio TLC, Dose calibrators, gamma counters, etc is a plus)
• Build/maintain a team to support the outbound logistics of radioactive drug product and/or device transportation logistics.
• Coordinate international logistics with the Telix logistics team
• Maintain and manage the metrology department for all GMP equipment.
• Coordinate maintenance for GMP equipment using internal or external qualified suppliers.
• Personal development – maintain standard knowledge and make recommendations for professional development and training.

Position Requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree with orientation in pharmacy, biochemistry or science field or equivalent expereince in GMP manufacturing
• Minimum 8 years’ of experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) +3 years of leadership experience
• Experience working in close support with R&D, Operations and Quality.
• Experience working in radiopharmaceuticals or radionuclide(s) manufacturing (highly preferred),
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Technical understanding of manufacturing, quality and regulatory requirements.
