Job summary

The American Cancer Society in Little Rock, AR is seeking a fundraising professional to build donor relationships and lead community partnerships. You will manage event logistics, develop revenue strategies, and coordinate across teams to deliver impactful programs.

Evening and weekend availability may be required. Starting salary ranges from $65,000 to $80,000 per year, with benefits included based on experience.

This is a home base position; candidates must reside in the Little Rock, Arkansas region.

Essential Functions

• Builds and manages relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners to achieve revenue goals and grow engagement. 40%
• Leads planning and execution of event fundraising activities, including logistics, budgets, vendor coordination, and experience delivery. 20%
• Develops and executes strategies to grow revenue, participation, and donor pipeline within assigned portfolio. 15%
• Aligns event participants and partners to broader organizational engagement opportunities to deepen long-term impact. 10%
• Monitors performance against goals, adjusting strategies to optimize revenue and return on investment. 10%
• Coordinates cross-functional partners to ensure successful event delivery and brand alignment. 5%

Experience / Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree
• Certificate(s) or License(s):
• Years of experience: 2 years successful experience in fundraising and relationship development

Travel Requirements

• Travel varies depending on the portfolio assignment and event staffing model
• Must be able to attend evening and weekend meetings, events and programs either remotely or in-person depending on the portfolio assignment

Physical Requirements

• Some lifting may be needed as part of event set up activities

Compensation

The starting rate is $65,000 to $80,000. The final candidate's relevant experience/skills will be considered before an offer is extended. Actual starting pay will vary based on non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, experience, skills, specialty, and education.
