Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field required. An advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in a relevant discipline is preferred, especially with coursework in data management or analytics.
  • Professional certifications in data governance or related fields are a plus. Examples include Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP), or certifications in cloud and security like Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or CDPSE.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, or related data-centric roles. At least 5 years of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred. Candidates should have a proven track record of implementing or maturing data governance programs and driving data quality or compliance initiatives in a complex business environment. Experience navigating regulatory requirements in life sciences (such as GxP for clinical/manufacturing data, 21 CFR Part 11 for electronic records, SOX for financial controls, GDPR/CCPA for data privacy) is essential.
