Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, media relations, or corporate affairs.
  • Preferred background in technology, infrastructure, real estate, or data center industries.
  • Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills.
  • Experience building relationships with media, government affairs teams, and senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Occasional travel across the Central U.S. region and other locations as needed.
  • Experience supporting government affairs or regulatory initiatives is a plus.

Your Role

As the regional Corporate Affairs lead, you'll serve as the primary communications partner for Digital Realty's Central markets. Working closely with Government Affairs, business leaders, media, and community stakeholders, you'll help shape our public narrative, support strategic initiatives, manage reputational risks, and ensure consistent messaging across the region. This role is ideal for a communications professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining media relations, storytelling, and stakeholder engagement to drive business impact.
