Mondelez International is seeking a senior supply chain lead to oversee end-to-end strategy, execution, and project management for key brands in North America. You will drive manufacturing sourcing, capacity planning, and capital investment planning, while managing cross-functional initiatives across R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Supply Chain.

The role emphasizes innovation, productivity gains, and network optimization, reporting to senior stakeholders and guiding feasibility studies through stage

Qualifications

MBA is preferred; bachelors degree in engineering discipline is required.
Strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and understanding of manufacturing systems.
Knowledge of innovation stage-gate governance and capex write-ups is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead the strategy for manufacturing sourcing and capacity management and develop capital investment proposals.
Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Finance, Quality, Planning, Engineering and Operations to ensure project execution.
Serve as single point of contact for cross-functional partners on innovation and productivity projects.
Provide updates on progress, status, financials, supply planning, and next steps to sponsors.
Lead feasibility assessment at initial stage gates and build the business case for commercialization.
Direct growth, innovation, and supply chain network optimization initiatives with stakeholder alignment.
Provide leadership for Product Change Management and Plant Business Development in collaboration with commercialization.

Describe the broad function and scope of the position:

This position is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain strategy, execution, and project management for key Mondelez brands. The role focuses innovation , productivity and Supply Chain Strategy initiatives in North America, ensuring the optimization of category resources and the realization of maximum benefits through cross-functional program synergies across the Savory portfoli o .

This position is a pivotal component of the Supply Chain Strategy & Transformation team, serving as the primary liaison between cross-functional departments, including R&D, Marketing, and Sales, and the broader Supply Chain organization. It ensures the successful execution of projects that deliver tangible value to both top-line growth and bottom-line efficiency.

Describe the primary responsibilities of the position in order of importance and identify % of time spent on that responsibility:

Percentage of Time:

1 . Lead the strategy for manufacturing sourcing and capacity management, while overseeing the development of capital investment proposals to enhance supply network strategies for key Mondelez brands.
2 . Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, R&D, Finance, Quality, Planning and Engineering, as well as Operations, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
3 . Single point of contact for cross-functional partners out of Supply Chain for the execution of innovation and productivity-related projects .
Provide regular updates to project sponsors and stakeholders on progress, project delivery status, financials, supply planning, and next steps .
4. Lead internal feasibility assessment during first stage gate of the projects and build the business case to support commercial team’s strategic agenda ; define network capability (capacity/technology) and capital associate d with developing such capability .
5 . Lead the implementation of key growth, innovation, and supply chain network optimization initiatives, ensuring stakeholder alignment and effective communication.
6 . Provide leadership for the Product Change Management organization and Plant Business Development s, represent Commercialization and Business Development to commercial partners as directed .
7 . Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support growth objectives and margin targets.

What you need to know about this position:

1. Project Management in Consumer Products
2 . Engineering, Manufacturing, Production or Research & Development
3. Basic Marketing/Finance/ Product Supply/ Procurement Principles (nice to have)
4. Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, innovation stage gate governance, agile project management and capex business case write ups .

Salary and Benefits:

The base salary range for this position is $140,300 to $192,940; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.
