Job summary

Incyte, a global biopharmaceutical company, seeks a Sr. Manager, BI Developer to partner with BIS business teams and deliver scalable dashboards.

You will lead end-to-end BI work, shaping user-friendly analytics, and coordinating onshore/offshore resources to ensure timely delivery of reporting products. You will work with Sales, Marketing, Market Access, and Patient Services to translate needs into actionable dashboards, partnering with IT to enable delivery and maintain data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with data & analytics tools (SQL, Python, and Power BI).
• Experience building intuitive business-facing dashboards in Power BI with usability and performance focus.
• Experience working with pharmaceutical datasets such as IQVIA Xponent data, CRM and Multi-channel engagement data.
• 3-5 years of pharmaceutical experience.

• Lead end-to-end development dashboards/reporting solutions including eliciting, documenting, designing, building, and testing BI and products.
• Drive BI product development through user experience and interface design, prototyping, development, and continuous improvement.
• Manage onshore/offshore resources through development, testing and support of BI applications.
• Partner with Commercial functions to support data and analytics needs and collaborate with IT as required to enable delivery.
• Develop operational procedures and oversee data pipelines and report refreshes for timely delivery.

The Sr. Manager, BI Developer - BIS, part of US Business Analytics, serves as a key data and analytics partner to BIS Business teams, delivering scalable dashboards and reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making. Reporting to the Senior Director, BI Reporting & Technical Product Lead, this role is a key member of a larger Business Information Services team responsible for providing integrated technology solutions and other critical commercial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the analytics partner to BIS business teams and stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable BI solutions, including dashboards and reporting.
• Lead end-to-end development dashboards/reporting solutions including taking an active role in eliciting, documenting, designing, building, and testing BI and products in support of key customers and business initiatives.
• Drive BI product development through user experience and interface design, prototyping, development, and continuous improvement.
• Manage onshore/offshore resources through development, testing and support of BI applications, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery aligned to business needs.
• Partner with Commercial functions—including Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Market Access, and Patient Services—to support data and analytics needs, and collaborate with Incyte IT as required to enable delivery
• Develop operational procedures and oversee successful execution of data pipelines and report refreshes to ensure timely, accurate delivery of dashboards to stakeholders

Qualifications And Education

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field required.
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL required, with the ability to query, transform, and analyze data.
• Hands-on experience with data & analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, and Power BI)
• Experience building intuitive business-facing dashboards in Power BI with a focus on usability, performance, and visual design.
• Experience working with pharmaceutical datasets such as IQVIA Xponent data, CRM and Multi-channel engagement data
• 3-5 years of pharmaceutical experience required.
• Proven ability to work with stakeholders to extract, articulate, and document report requirements.
• Proven ability to manage third party vendors and internal partners to ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget.
• Intermediate level technical understanding of the data warehousing processing specific to the NA Business Unit.
• Strong sense of customer service; ability to interact with employees spanning all levels of the organization.
• Expert in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills, written and oral communications.
• Proven ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and/or actively participate in multiple simultaneous projects.
