Job summary

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in breast imaging procedures.
• Associate's Degree required.
• Maryland license or eligibility to obtain license.
• Basic Life Support certification.

Job description

Produces mammography films, needle localizations and duct gram procedures of high technical quality. Performs bone density procedures. Observes, records, and transmits data accurately using computers. Responsibilities Performs ordered breast imaging procedures including mammography, stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations as well as bone density exams. Maintains proficiency on all related equipment. Demonstrates the appropriate level of knowledge in all areas of Breast Imaging and Bone density exams. Performs all breast imaging studies and provides assistance during interventional procedures. Produces quality images using knowledge of patient positioning to obtain optimal views while adhering to the requirements and recommendations of MQSA and ACR.

Experience

• 1-3 years Education: Required
• Associate's Degree
• Registered Technologist-Mammography
• Radiographer License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland license
• Basic Life Support

This position works 2-3 days per week on set schedule.
