Sr. Maintenance Technician – Injection

Join our mission to provide high quality, affordable bottled water. We are looking for a seasoned maintenance technician to ensure uninterrupted plant operations through predictive and preventive maintenance, problem resolution, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Ensure equipment uptime through timely troubleshooting and repair of all production equipment, including injection molders, blow molders, fillers/cappers, labelers, case packers, conveyors, palletizers, and stretch wrappers.
- Perform maintenance on auxiliary equipment such as chillers, air compressors, reverse osmosis and other water filtration systems.
- Act as subject‑matter expert on at least one equipment area and train operators, mechanics, and supervisors on technical procedures.
- Lead and execute continuous‑improvement projects with plant leadership to resolve recurring problems, upgrade equipment, and drive throughput performance.
- Use data analysis and diagnostic software to perform root‑cause analysis, schedule planned downtime, and coordinate overhaul and refurbishment activities.
- Document troubleshooting procedures and upload SOPs to the BDA system; maintain machine reliability and mean‑time‑between‑failure metrics.
- Maintain safety standards, good manufacturing practices, and regulatory compliance throughout all maintenance activities.
- Participate in on‑call rotations, stand or walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lb. Required to carry a personal toolbox and basic tools.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.
- Experience managing people/projects (minimum 4 years).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to resolve issues across departments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Able to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
- Hands‑on skills with hydraulic and mechanical presses, bench grinder, drill press, mill, lathe, and power tools.
- Proficient in precision measuring equipment (calipers, dial indicators, bore gauges).
- Preferred: 10+ years in a maintenance manufacturing role; experience with Krones, Husky, Sidel or other bottling equipment.
- Preferred: Demonstrated continuous‑improvement initiatives and technical leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with blow molding and injection molding production lines.
- Familiarity with labeling technology and packaging equipment.
- Experience creating process improvements, welding (MIG, TIG, stick), and variable‑frequency drive repair.

Education
- Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
