Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician for our client site in Durham, NC. You will oversee the maintenance and operation of critical building systems, lead shift activities, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, and mentor technicians to ensure uptime and reliability.

You will collaborate with Automation support teams, uphold safety standards, and drive continuous improvement of MHE and robotic systems in a highly automated environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair,maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install,maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
• Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
• Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

About the Role

In this role, you will support the maintenance and operation of critical building systems within a client's facility. As a Sr. Maintenance Technician, you will lead shift operations, troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, and ensure equipment reliability and uptime. You will provide technical direction and mentorship to technicians, partner closely with Automation support teams, and help maintain safety, quality, and operational standards in a highly automated environment.
