Job Description Summary

The Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes ensuring quality move-in, resident satisfaction, timely service, and personal attention to our residents.

The Maintenance Supervisor responds to resident service requests and plays a key role in helping Cushman & Wakefield deliver superior customer service.

Essential Job Duties:

1. Prepares all market-ready apartments, including painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping to ensure quality.
2. Completes resident service requests promptly.
3. Possesses knowledge of various maintenance functions such as plumbing, pool maintenance, HVAC, carpentry, appliance repair, electrical work, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life safety.
4. Maintains grounds, pools, hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
5. Performs on-call emergency procedures as needed.
6. Reports maintenance issues affecting the budget, safety, property damages, or common areas to the manager.
7. Schedules and performs preventative maintenance, maintaining records of activities.
8. Follows all relevant housing laws, codes, policies, and systems.
9. Attends and participates in required training programs.
10. Provides excellent customer service and maintains professionalism at all times.

Competencies:

1. Ability to work any shift from Sunday to Saturday.
2. Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and equipment.
3. Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and interpretation of graphs.
4. Valid Driver's License required.
5. Certifications such as CPO, EPA 608 Type II, or local city/state certificates as required.
6. Adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Education and Experience:

1. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; trade, technical, or vocational training preferred.
2. At least 3 years of related experience.
3. Relevant certifications as specified.

Work Environment

Professional office setting with travel between properties, in varying weather conditions.

Physical Demands

Requires standing, walking, climbing, lifting up to 100 pounds, and operating machinery, with travel up to 10%.
