Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a LIMS Project Manager to lead enterprise laboratory system initiatives, with a primary focus on LIMS implementation, instrument integrations, and custom configurations. You will drive project planning, governance, risk management, budgets, and execution from initiation through deployment in a regulated pharma environment, working primarily remote with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading enterprise technology projects.
• Hands-on experience implementing LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems).
• Experience integrating laboratory instruments with LIMS platforms.
• Strong executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Pharmaceutical/biotech or regulated industry experience with CSV.
• PMP Certification and Agile/Scrum credentials.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end LIMS implementation projects across multiple labs.
• Gather requirements with stakeholders and define project scope.
• Manage plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and resources.
• Oversee instrument integrations and data flows between systems.
• Coordinate configurations with vendors and technical teams.
• Facilitate status meetings and executive updates.

Insight Global is seeking a LIMS Project Manager for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing and life sciences organization. This individual will be responsible for leading enterprise laboratory system initiatives, with a primary focus on LIMS implementation, laboratory instrument integrations, and custom system configurations. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering large-scale projects within regulated environments and possess exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with laboratory teams, IT leadership, vendors, and executive stakeholders.This person will drive project planning, governance, risk management, budget oversight, and successful execution from initiation through deployment. Candidates with experience implementing LabWare LIMS are highly preferred, though experience with other major LIMS platforms will also be considered. This is an excellent opportunity to support a high-impact digital transformation initiative while working primarily remote with occasional travel as needed.

Day-to-Day:

Lead end-to-end LIMS implementation projects across multiple laboratory environmentsPartner with business, laboratory, quality, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scopeManage project plans, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocationOversee instrument integrations and data flow between laboratory systems and enterprise applicationsCoordinate custom LIMS configurations and enhancements with vendors and technical teamsFacilitate project status meetings and provide executive-level updatesDrive issue resolution, risk mitigation, and change management activitiesEnsure adherence to regulatory, validation, and quality requirementsManage external vendors, implementation partners, and third-party resourcesSupport user acceptance testing, training, deployment, and post-go-live activitiesEnsure successful handoff to support and operational teams following implementation

Skills and Requirements

7+ years of Project Management experience leading enterprise technology initiativesHands-on experience implementing LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems)Experience integrating laboratory instruments with LIMS platformsExperience leading custom configuration and enhancement efforts within LIMS environmentsStrong executive-level communication and stakeholder management skillsPharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or highly regulated industry experienceExperience managing vendors, implementation partners, and cross-functional project teamsProven ability to lead projects from planning through deployment and stabilizationFamiliarity with SDLC, Agile, and project governance methodologiesLabWare LIMS implementation experienceExperience with Computer System Validation (CSV)PMP CertificationAgile/Scrum certification or Scrum Master experienceExperience with laboratory operations, quality systems, or manufacturing environmentsExperience with data migration and system integrations in regulated environments
