Job summary

MG Properties seeks a Sr. Leasing Consultant to float among our North County properties, with the main location at Rylan Apartments in Vista, CA.

You will provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects, using professional sales techniques to maintain high occupancy at our apartment communities. Qualified candidates have 1 year of property management experience and strong sales/customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of property management experience preferred
• Excellent sales and customer service skills are essential
• Desire to work in a team setting with a company that promotes from within
• Professional etiquette is essential
• Consent to audio recordings during work duties as a condition of employment

Responsibilities

• Greet prospective residents in a timely and friendly manner
• Qualify applicants for apartments thoroughly and promptly
• Coordinate with maintenance for smooth move-ins
• Maintain up-to-date rental files and input data accurately
• Prepare leases and oversee signing by new residents
• Assist in monthly administrative tasks and keep paperwork organized
• Interact with residents professionally to resolve issues and ensure timely rent payments

We are seeking a Sr. Leasing Consultant to float among our beautiful properties in North County. With the main location being our Rylan apartments in Vista, CA!

This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to residents and potential residents, while utilizing professional sales and marketing techniques, and solid customer service skills to maintain high occupancy at the apartment property.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Meets and greets prospective residents, in a timely and friendly manner.
• Qualifies applicants for apartments in a thorough and timely manner.
• Coordinates with maintenance staff to ensure smooth move-ins for the new residents.
• Maintains thorough and up-to-date rental files. Accurately enters rental data into the computer.
• Prepares leases for and oversees the signing of leases by new residents.
• Assists in completion of monthly administrative tasks and ensures property's paperwork is organized and complete.
• Interacts with residents in a professional manner to resolve maintenance issues, handle complaints, and ensure timely payment of rents.

Qualifications

• 1 year ofproperty management experience preferred!
• Excellent sales and customer service skills are essential!

Compensation and Benefits

• $24-$25/hour
