Job description

We are seeking an exceptional Leadership Development Business Partner to guide, architect, and drive high-impact learning solutions that shape the next generation of leaders. This role offers an opportunity to influence organizational excellence at scale while solving complex business challenges through innovative learning approaches.

Key job responsibilities

This role offers collaboration with significant autonomy, and the opportunity to make an impact on Amazon's leadership culture. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous environments, demonstrates excellent judgment, facilitation, and communication skills, and possesses both strategic vision and practical execution capabilities.

What You'll Do:
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to identify, assess, and address critical leadership development needs across multiple organizations and geographies, recommending solutions to enhance leader capability, engagement, culture, and performance
  • Design and manage complex leadership development curricula that align with organizational goals and values to drive meaningful behavior change and measurable business impact
  • Incorporate innovative approaches, tools, and technologies (e.g., experiential learning, executive roundtables, e-learning, immersive simulations) to deliver impactful learning experiences
  • Lead data-driven decision making by establishing metrics, analyzing outcomes, and continuously improving program effectiveness
  • Influence strategic direction of leadership development initiatives through compelling narratives and evidence-based recommendations
  • Negotiate priorities and resources across competing organizational demands, making trade-offs between short- and long-term needs
  • Architect end-to-end learning experiences that transform leadership capabilities before, during, and after formal training interventions
  • Force multiply by mentoring and developing others, and by building standards and best practices that scale across the organization
Impact You'll Have:
  • Advance leadership capability across client organizations, directly influencing org-level goals and business outcomes
  • Improve solution-related metrics and the effectiveness of complex leadership curricula, with potential to shape a broader program portfolio
  • Drive meaningful behavior change in leaders through scalable learning solutions
  • Streamline and standardize best practices that raise the bar for how leadership development is delivered across teams
A day in the life

As a Leadership Development Business Partner, your days are about one thing: making leaders across Selling Partner Services better at leading. Some mornings you're sitting with a senior business leader, digging into the data to figure out what capabilities are most needed in their organization over the next 12 months. Other days you're designing a curriculum from scratch, facilitating a room full of managers, or piloting something new to see what moves the needle.

You'll partner with HRBPs, senior business leaders, your fellow LDBPs, org and regional L&D teams, and Employee Experience Partners. Your customers span the full leadership pipeline, from people managers to senior leaders, across multiple organizations and geographies. The problems are real and rarely tidy: how do leaders scale themselves, build manager capability that sticks, and strengthen the culture they create every day? You'll own the answers end to end and measure whether it worked.
