Job summary

Cardiovascular Associates of America - CVAUSA is seeking a Lead Clinical Research Coordinator to guide the growth of our cardiovascular research program at the South Miami location. You will manage trials, lead a team, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with a national network.

You will oversee patient recruitment, trial operations, and data integrity, driving efficiency and quality across sites as part of our expanding research efforts. On-site role based in South Miami, FL.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare, or clinical research.
  • Experience leading clinical trials and enrollment for multiple studies.
  • Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of clinical trials and site operations.
  • Lead patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment.
  • Ensure regulatory submissions and documentation are up-to-date.
  • Coordinate with sponsors and study teams across sites.
  • Manage data collection, verification, and quality control.

MyCardiologist is hiring a Lead Clinical Research Coordinator for the South Miami location. The Lead Clinical Research Coordinator will be responsible to lead the growth and development of the research program while also working with other clinic staff on existing and new clinical trials. As part of CVAUSA’s national network, the Clinical Research Coordinator will have the opportunity to collaborate with teams across the country, making an impact on cardiovascular care both locally and nationwide.

Position Overview: As a Lead Clinical Research Coordinator at CMA, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing all aspects of clinical trials and site operations. Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Trial Management: Oversee all aspects of clinical trials, including patient recruitment, screening, and enrollment. Ensure that protocols are followed meticulously
  • Site Operations: Handle day-to-day site management, ensuring that all activities comply with regulatory requirements and study protocols
  • Data Management: Collect, verify, and manage clinical trial data, ensuring it is accurate and complete
  • Communication & Reporting: Act as the primary point of contact for study sponsors, participants, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates and progress reports
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all documentation, including regulatory submissions and patient records, are kept up-to-date and in compliance with ethical and legal standards
  • Problem Solving & Innovation: Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to drive efficiency and enhance trial operations

  • Experience & Qualifications:
  • Clinical experience in cardiovascular medicine in any licensed role (i.e. RN, technologist, medical assistant, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., life sciences, healthcare, or clinical research)
  • Experience managing clinical trials, leading the enrollment for multiple clinical trials, developing a research program
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Clinical research certification (e.g., CCRP) is a plus
  • Knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements
