Job summary

ADP is seeking an experienced Senior Lead Application Developer to drive mobile and web experiences using Flutter, React, and modern frontend technologies. You will design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure applications, partnering with Product, UX, Architecture, and Platform Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of software development, 3+ years with Flutter, and strong Dart skills, plus deep experience in frontend ecosystems and API integrations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of Flutter production app development.
• Strong experience with the Dart language.
• Experience with React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience with authentication standards such as OAuth, OIDC and SAML.
• Knowledge of mobile app architecture patterns, state management, accessibility and performance.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD and Agile methods.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead Application Developer with strong expertise in Flutter, mobile application development, and modern frontend technologies to help drive the evolution of our digital experiences across mobile and web platforms.

This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality user experiences while partnering closely with Product, UX, Architecture, and Platform Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have deep experience building cross-platform applications using Flutter and a strong understanding of modern frontend architectures, design systems, accessibility, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade mobile applications using Flutter for iOS and Android platforms.
• Build modern, responsive frontend experiences using web technologies such as React, Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Partner with Product Owners, UX Designers, and Architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead the implementation of scalable and maintainable application architectures.
• Establish and promote best practices for coding standards, testing, security, and performance.
• Develop reusable UI components, design system integrations, and shared application libraries.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and accessibility across platforms and devices.
• Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, identity providers, authentication services, and backend systems.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership during design reviews and development activities.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, and retrospectives.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative approaches to improve developer productivity and user experience.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience building production applications using Flutter.
• Strong experience with Dart programming language.

Extensive experience with frontend technologies including:

• JavaScript
• TypeScript
• HTML5
• CSS3
• React and/or Angular
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorization solutions such as OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML.
• Strong understanding of mobile application architecture patterns and state management frameworks.
• Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of application security, accessibility, and performance optimization best practices.
