Ecolab is seeking a Sr Lab Technician to join our team in Martinsburg, WV. As a Senior Lab Technician, you'll support a wide range of laboratory operations—from preparing and analyzing samples to maintaining equipment and mentoring new team members. You'll collaborate closely with leadership and technicians to ensure accurate testing, troubleshoot challenges, and contribute to a safe, organized, and high-performing lab environment.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Perform a variety of laboratory operations in a manufacturing plant laboratory. Duties usually consist of making measurements, performing quantitative and qualitative tests, performing calculations and determinations on tests, and evaluating experimental results. Ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required.
  • Assist in writing experimental results and appropriate documentation in lab notebook(s) and SAP.
  • Use standard laboratory equipment and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Calculate product adjustments when results are outside of accepted range.
  • Perform routine and safety program checks and preventive maintenance on instruments.
  • Assume responsibility for minor projects.
  • Work alongside teammates to maintain a clean, safe, efficient, and well-stocked laboratory.
Position Details
  • Location: Martinsburg, WV
  • Work week and shift: Monday – Friday, 3rd Shift (10 PM – 6 AM)
  • Compensation: $28.00/hr (salary range $52,900 – $79,500; benefits provided)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience multitasking and managing numerous projects simultaneously.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
