Constellation Energy seeks a Senior HVAC Service Technician in Maryland to inspect, diagnose, and repair residential HVAC and water heating systems. You will ensure safety, compliance with codes, and high-quality service while training others in preventive maintenance and advanced appliance repair.

Responsibilities include handling on-call duties, documenting service work, and maintaining equipment. Requires EPA-608 Type 2, state licensing, and strong communication and customer service skills.

• 4+ years of HVAC work experience with 1+ year in related work
• State licensing is required
• EPA-608 Certification, Type 2 or higher required
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Customer service skills demonstrated

Expected hourly range of $33.92 to $41.46, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k). This role has earning potential of $100,00 per year in total compensation.

Primary Purpose of Position

The Senior HVAC Service Technician is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and completing electronic/ mechanical repairs of specified HVAC equipment and water heaters. This role ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all local and national codes.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

• Perform and train others in preventative maintenance on all residential heating, air conditioning and ventilation equipment.
• Assist in sealed system HVAC, water heaters, or advanced appliance repair as part of training and development.
• Provide exceptional customer service and communicate clearly with homeowners regarding work performed and recommendations.
• Complete all required documentation, including service tickets, time logs, and material usage.
• Ability to be on-call and respond to emergency situations
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
• Adherent to all safety protocols and company policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• 4-years of work experience in HVAC and 1-year of related work experience
• All required State licensing
• Valid EPA-608 Technician Certification, Type 2 or higher
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing
• Proven customer service skills
• Advanced knowledge of the tools and materials related to the service field
• Advanced skills in servicing appliances or heating and air conditioning equipment
• Advanced skills in servicing gas and electric water heaters
• Advanced skills in sales with the ability to recommend and promote all services offered by the company
• Eligibility to meet Company driving standards, including possession of a valid driver's license
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
• 5-years of work experience in HVAC OR
