Detailed Job Description

As a Sr. Java Fullstack Developer supporting enterprise application modernization via Tanisha Systems in Irving, TX or Charlotte, NC, you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of backend microservices, API specifications, front-end React.JS integration, and cloud migration initiatives. Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining REST and SOAP-based services, writing clean code using Java 8+, Spring Boot, Struts, Spring MVC, JDBC, and ORM, and building responsive user interfaces with React.JS. You will organize migration kick-offs for moving applications from On-Prem to Cloud (Azure/AWS), follow standardized migration factory steps, handle containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, and manage CI/CD pipelines via Jenkins. Furthermore, you will perform rigorous vulnerability scanning using Sonar and Blackduck, conduct unit testing with JUnit/Spock/Groovy/Mockito, and collaborate closely with onsite-offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend microservices and APIs using Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Spring frameworks.
• Build dynamic, responsive front-end user interfaces and components using React.JS.
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive API specifications, documentation, and REST/SOAP integration endpoints.
• Implement robust data access layers using JDBC, ORM, and advanced SQL querying.
• Execute containerized application deployments and management using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Drive CI/CD pipeline automation, build configurations, and deployments using Jenkins.
• Coordinate Onsite-Offshore development teams and organize application migration kick-offs from On-Prem to Cloud (Azure preferred / AWS).
• Perform vulnerability scanning, code quality reviews, and security fixes using Sonar, Blackduck, and other security tools.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10+ years of professional software development experience with extensive hands-on Java fullstack expertise.
• Deep hands-on coding expertise in Java skillset, APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Strong proficiency across Spring / Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and legacy Struts frameworks.
• Advanced proficiency in Java 8 and higher features, JDBC, and ORM.
• Strong hands-on experience with SOAP and REST based web services and API documentation.
• Extensive experience with enterprise application servers including JBOSS, WebSphere Application Server (WAS), LIBERTY, Open Liberty, and WebLogic.
• Hands-on professional experience with Apache Kafka message streaming platforms.
• Proven experience in cloud migration projects (Azure preferred, AWS acceptable) and On-Prem to Cloud architecture.
• Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline configuration using Jenkins and Docker containerization.
• Strong debugging skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues based on application logs.
• Strong understanding of design patterns (IOC, MVC, Singleton, Factory).
• Strong exposure to coding standards and unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Spock, Groovy, Mockito).
• Excellent communication, verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage onsite-offshore coordination.
• Mandatory legal eligibility to work in the United States on a contract basis with readiness for on-site operations in Irving, TX or Charlotte, NC (final round F2F).
