Job summary

The Matlen Silver Group, Inc. is seeking a Java Developer for a 12-month contract in Plano, TX. You will contribute to backend development using Java, Spring, REST/SOAP services, and SQL, with emphasis on E2E application understanding.

The role requires 8+ years in development/lead capacity, experience with DevOps/CI-CD, and familiarity with WebLogic/JBOSS/MQ; offshore/onshore coordination is part of the scope.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on developer/lead experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis.
• Strong programming experience in Java, SQL, Spring, Spring Boot, REST and SOAP Web services, and HTML.

Job Title: Java Developer

Location: Plano, TX

Duration: 12 Months Contract W2

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in a Developer/Lead capacity.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in reviewing requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis.
• Solid computer programming experience (Java, SQL, Spring, Springboot, Webservices (REST and SOAP) & HTML).
• Ability to assist with offshore / onshore task co-ordination.
• Experience in Dev Ops, continuous delivery and continuous integration.
• Transaction knowledge, JaxB, JMS, Jdbc, Weblogic, JBOSS, MQ, and good handle on core java (streams / files / collections). Drools knowledge would be a plus.
