Job summary

Shrive Technologies LLC is seeking a skilled Java engineer to work across development and production support, focusing on Java 11/17/21, Spring Boot, and microservices. The role involves troubleshooting production incidents, performing root cause analysis, and guiding offshore teams to improve incident management capabilities.

The candidate will write clean, efficient code within an Agile framework, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to continuous improvement during production shifts

Qualifications

• Experience with Java 11/17/21 and Spring Boot.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful services.
• Proficient with SQL databases (Oracle) and ORM frameworks (JPA/Hibernate).

Responsibilities

• Incident management: troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis and execute resolution steps.
• Build a comprehensive KEDB for recurring and unique incidents and guide offshore team to build competency on incident management.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices in an Agile environment; contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Work on minor enhancements and development stories as part of production support and development cycles.

Candidate should be willing to work in both support (weekdays and weekend support during PST hours) and development ecosystem involving production support shifts.
