Job summary

Matlen Silver seeks an experienced IT governance and controls leader to guide leaders on IT controls and audits. The role focuses on risk management, lifecycle improvements, and coordination of audits with external firms to ensure effective remediation.

You will identify systemic weaknesses, provide actionable guidance, and lead complex IT change initiatives that affect multiple divisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT controls, audits, or risk management.
• In lieu of degree, 7+ years of related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide governance, controls, and risk management guidance to IT leaders and business areas.

Utilizing broad expertise in governance, controls, and risk management, serves as subject expert and provides effective counsel to leaders and business areas on IT controls and audits. Responsible for IT software development lifecycle process improvement, documentation, and the implementation of the controls. Responsible for oversight and coordination of the audit process within IT while working collaboratively with other business areas and external firms to ensure effective communication and management of audits. Identifies systemic weaknesses in IT controls, provides guidance on actions for resolution and escalates issues as needed to get the resources to address issues. Responsible for creating, implementing and managing processes, policies, procedures, standards, and controls for IT risk management Leads IT process change initiatives that are highly complex, have critical dependencies with other change initiatives or established processes, and impact multiple divisions within the organization Manages and prioritizes overall portfolio of change initiatives and collects inputs to define future change initiatives.
