Job summary

Talently is seeking an experienced IT professional to join a dynamic chemical manufacturing technology team in Michigan. The role focuses on leveraging Oracle ERP/CRM/Financials, EDI processing, and label printing to optimize core business processes.

You will develop ad‑hoc SQL queries, design and implement enhancements, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions. A bachelor’s degree and 15+ years of IT experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
• 15+ years of IT experience in an Oracle ERP/CRM/Financials environment, preferably automotive or supply‑chain sectors.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle R12.2 upgrades, full‑lifecycle implementations, and production support for AP/AR/PO/GL/iProcurement/Supply Chain.
• Proficient in creating ad‑hoc SQL queries and Oracle EBS.
• Experience configuring and managing EDI transactions in Oracle for customers and suppliers.
• Expertise with AIM methodology and designing requirements using RICE techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop ad‑hoc SQL queries and scripts for reporting.

• Experience configuring and managing EDI transactions in Oracle for customers and suppliers.
• Expertise in AIM methodology and ability to design requirements using RICE techniques.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with label‑printing software such as Loftware.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) development.
• Familiarity with custom desktop applications and Central Desktop environments.
• Strong documentation and training abilities.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with various departments and stakeholders.
• Understanding of chemical manufacturing business processes and regulatory considerations.
