Job summary

Securitas Technology is seeking a Senior Installation Scheduler to coordinate and manage fast turn security installation projects from booking to completion.

The role interfaces with customers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery, accurate PSds, and successful project closure, reporting to the District General Manager.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 1–3 years in operations scheduling or project coordination.
  • Knowledge of installation processes and order-to-cash workflows.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule installation technicians or subcontractors to meet customer dates.
  • Manage backlog and forecast revenue for assigned projects.
  • Review backlog with DGM for revenue planning.
  • Attend daily calls with DGM on new projects and actions.
  • Drive the installation process from start to finish for orders.
  • Coordinate subcontractor schedules and site access.
  • Verify Customer Contact Info, Scope of Work, and labor allowances.
  • Maintain electronic installation folders and update PSD/CCD dates.
  • Manage changes to PSD and project scope and trigger production steps.
  • Submit subcontractor POs and close out tasks in systems.

With clients at the heart of all we do, our people, knowledge, and technology power our connected ecosystem of health, safety and security solutions and services.Job DescriptionThe key functions of the Senior Installation Scheduler role are the coordination and management of fast turn/transactional electronic security installation projects from booking through completion. The Installation Scheduler manages all stages of the installation process from order visibility to on-time delivery to installation to order closure. These business activities include interfacing directly with customers and coordinating project implementation deliverables from start to finish. Interfacing with internal technician resources and subcontractors, establishing and meeting installation project schedules, ordering parts as needed, and driving customer satisfaction. The Installation Scheduler reports to the District General Manager.Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Scheduling of Installation Technicians and or Sub-Contractors to ensure jobs are prioritized to meet requires customer completion dates. District General Manager to oversee and support.
  • Manage/maintain backlog of assigned projects including revenue forecasting of backlog being managed to also include maintenance of all status codes and project dates.
  • Review entire backlog on a weekly or as needed basis with DGM for revenue forecasting purposes.
  • Attend daily call with DGM to review new projects and action items for new projects or existing projects.
  • Drive installation process for all orders assigned from start to finish, working in close alignment with the DGM, program management team and field leadership.
  • Managing subcontractor schedules, including the tracking of arrivals and departures to/from customer sites.
  • Review all new orders assigned for Customer Contact Information, Scope of Work, and labor allowances.
  • Works closely as the primary customer contact and sales team to obtain good Customer Completion Dates (CCD) and determine accurate Projected Start Dates (PSD)
  • Maintain Electronic Installation Folders for all assigned orders.
  • Manage changes to PSD and Project Scope inclusive of accessing impact of changes on triggering product to manufacturing, releasing through transportation, and assuring resources are scheduled.
  • Own equipment related tasks specific to submitting approved schedule ordering, equipment tracking, process RMAs, and contacting vendor(s) to obtain service invoices.
  • Issue, review and submit subcontractor POs for approval and to Accounts Payable. After each project is complete, clean up MOR, process signed CFIN in Solomon and closing out tasks/reports.
  • Create and document action items and notes in Solomon/Atlas and escalated as needed when action items are not met.
  • Maintain installation schedule using Atlas or other company scheduling tools/systems for assigned orders.
  • Follow up with labor force via phone, e-mail, etc. on Customer expectations to meet PSD and CCD’s.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast paced working environment
  • Requires a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in operations scheduling, operations support and/or project coordination.
  • Ability to demonstrate and possess a working knowledge of the installation processes and systems, including an understanding of the overall order to cash process. These areas should include, but are not limited to:
    • Product and service offerings and deliverables;
    • Basic understanding of general construction management/coordination requirements (and general construction license and permit requirements is helpful).
  • Requires a highly motivated individual with a combination of professional business skills and basic technical knowledge.
  • Must be a leader with the ability to communicate effectively (oral/written), interact well with internal and external customers, and practice good problem solving skills.
  • Must be proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and other computer systems, as well as database management and project management system input and maintenance.
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills as well as an ability to effectively communicate with customers as needed
  • Occasional lifting of parts and equipment as needed.
