Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Sr. Inside Sales Rep at our Mobile, AL branch.

You will serve as a key customer contact and consultant, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders for equipment and services, while building relationships and delivering outstanding service. In this fast-paced role you will process quotations, establish new accounts, negotiate prices, dispatch deliveries, generate leads, mentor teammates, and support branch operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years inside sales experience.
• Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills.
• Strong multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process rental quotations, reservations and contracts.
• Establish new rental and sales accounts by serving walk-in and call-in customers.
• Negotiate prices on equipment rentals in accordance with pricing policies.
• Dispatch delivery trucks and manage customer expectations.
• Generate leads for new business and relay to Outside Sales.
• Mentor and train new Inside Sales Representatives.
• Assist in branch operations and reporting.
