Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems in Palo Alto, CA is seeking a strategic HR Business Partner to advise leaders and shape organizational strategy in a hybrid work environment. You will partner with executives across engineering, operations and functions to deliver value-added HR programs and drive people initiatives.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in HR across multiple disciplines, US citizenship or permanent residency, and a Bachelor's degree (or 9+ years of relevant experience).

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or 9+ years HR experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines including talent management, compensation, organizational design, employee relations, diversity & inclusion, and employment law.
• Minimum 5 years of experience resolving employee relations issues and partnering with business leaders.

What You'll Do

• Compliance – Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies; partner with Legal and Compliance teams to mitigate organizational risks

Required

What You Bring

• U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or 9+ years of relevant HR experience in lieu of degree)
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines including talent management, compensation, organizational design, employee relations, diversity & inclusion, and employment law
• Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving employee relations issues and partnering with business leaders

Preferred

• HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP)
• Experience in aerospace, engineering, or high-tech manufacturing environments
• Proven track record designing and facilitating leadership development programs
• Advanced analytical skills with HRIS and workforce analytics tools
• Experience managing HR operations during periods of organizational growth or M&A activity
• Strong attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

• The base pay for this position within California is: $87,000.00 - $145,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
