Key Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities, develop complex approaches to account engagement, and execute against Acadia’s strategic imperatives.
- Identify, develop and advance relationships with influential and relevant Key Medical Experts.
- Strong understanding of patient journey and gaps in care to effectively educate on potential EHR interventions within Centers of Excellence and IDNs.
- Effectively implement the medication transitions of care process within hospitals, including discharge order sets.
- Understand P&T processes for assigned IDNs and key institutions to assist in formulary access when needed to implement EHR interventions or medication transitions of care.
- Conduct IDN SPP QBRs to advance projects, overcome access barriers and identify future opportunities.
- Educate and actively engage Fellows and Residents to align on project development within Centers of Excellence, IDN or Health System.
- Meet expected Brand and Access Objectives that result in market share growth, while ensuring compliance with assigned targeted accounts.
- Record account information and competitive intelligence through available account management resources and tools.
- Create access and pull-through opportunities for the field sales organization within Centers of Excellence, which leads to increased compliance, market share and profits.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, and US healthcare laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Skills Required
- Develop and advance relationships with specified IDNs and strategic organizations within the specified region.
- Effective utilization of Acadia’s tools and resources to advance patient care.
- Proven record of leadership without formal authority.
- Strong personal drive and proven ability to problem solve and drive innovation in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills with both external and internal matrix.
- Ability to conduct effective presentations of technical information concerning specific projects or timelines.
- Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field required.
- To qualify for Health Systems Manager: a minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, account management, or hospital sales.
- Strongly Preferred:
- Experience in CNS and Specialty Pharmacy.
- Experience with institutional and/or IDN/complex systems.
- To qualify for Senior Health Systems Manager:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in pharmaceuticals or life sciences.
- A minimum of 3 years in Institutional, IDN/complex health system management, or Regional Sales Manager with a demonstration of national-level leadership.
- Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to comply with strict policy in a highly regulated environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Smartsheet, and CRM.
- Ability to operate independently without strong support or guidance.
- Ability to travel 50-75%.
Salary Ranges and Benefits
- Health System Manager: $128,000–$160,000
- Senior Health System Manager: $158,000–$197,000
- In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible for discretionary bonus and equity awards based on individual and organizational performance. Actual amounts vary by experience, performance, and location.
