Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking senior engineers to lead designs, raise engineering standards, and improve latency, throughput, and reliability across services. You will partner with fleet, product, and hardware teams to evolve our GPU performance testing platform for a reliable customer experience.

Responsibilities include building Kubernetes-native controllers, scalable backend services, and performance tests across the CoreWeave fleet, with on-call duties and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in distributed systems or related field.
• Proficiency in Go and/or Python software development.
• Hands-on experience writing Kubernetes operators/controllers.

About the role

Senior engineers are area owners who lead designs, raise engineering standards, and deliver measurable improvements to latency, throughput, and reliability across multiple services. You’ll partner with fleet, product, and hardware teams to evolve our GPU performance testing platform to ensure we deliver a reliable and performant experience to our customers.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement solutions to problems of scale for testing and validation of CoreWeave’s global infrastructure.
• Design and develop Kubernetes-native controllers and operators to automate infrastructure workflows.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs (gRPC/REST) in Go or Python.
• Develop performance tests and automation workflows to expand hardware validation across the CoreWeave fleet.
• Write and maintain Kubernetes custom controllers and operators to automate infrastructure testing.
• Adapt and extend open source tooling to enhance visibility into system metrics, performance, and health.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation.

What we’re looking for

• ~5 to 8 years of experience
• Proficiency in Go and/or Python software development.
• Hands‑on experience with writing Kubernetes operators/controllers.

Base Salary

The base salary range for this role is $165,000 to $242,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. We strive for both market alignment and internal equity when determining compensation. In addition to base salary, our total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program (all based on eligibility).
