Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Supply Chain & Procurement is seeking a highly effective supply chain professional to manage AWS' GPU supply chain, overseeing a semiconductor supply chain with cross-functional collaboration with internal and external teams. This role helps enable continuity of supply and cost goals for the AIS team.

We are seeking a highly effective supply chain professional to manage AWS' GPU supply chain. In this role, the candidate will manage a semiconductor supply chain with multiple products in close collaboration with both internal and external cross‑functional teams. These qualifications are critical to help enable AWS’s AIS team achieve continuity of supply and cost goals.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Be a self‑starter comfortable with ambiguity, high attention to detail, and a proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment.
  • Use excellent analytical capabilities and program management experience to dive deep into data and lead executive‑level reviews.
  • Employ strong writing skills and communicate clearly and effectively to all levels of the company, in writing and in meetings.
  • Use data to influence decision makers and participate actively with a strong curiosity to understand the business end‑to‑end.
  • Work closely with cross‑functional teams to understand weekly demand signal changes and impacts on subcomponents level.
  • Audit forecasts, exchange forecasts with suppliers, and ensure suppliers deliver against forecast.
  • Dive deep on demand data using the limited data systems currently available.
A Day in the Life
  • Serve as a key member of the AWS Infrastructure supply chain team in helping to define and deliver complex supply chain strategies.
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable analytical tools, dashboards, and metrics that drive key decisions and resource prioritization.
  • Understand the technical requirements of our partners and work closely with internal technical teams to guide the direction of activities that will impact our supply chain.
  • Produce written recommendations and insights for key stakeholders to help shape solution design.
  • Handle multiple projects at once, deal with ambiguity, and rapidly‑changing priorities.
  • Design mitigation plans to address potential supply issues and proactively communicate the supply impact to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a hard‑working, meticulous approach to deliver results at an effective pace.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of related industry experience.
  • 5+ years of data analysis using tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in program, project, or product management, or leading product implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies.
  • Experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction.
  • Experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain, and Tier 1 OEM partners.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, basic life & AD&D insurance, and option for supplemental life plans, EAP, mental health support, medical advice line, flexible spending accounts, adoption and surrogacy reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
