Terracon is seeking a senior geotechnical engineering professional to join our Georgia transportation practice. You will lead engineering and consulting services for major transportation projects across Georgia and the US, including field investigations, analyses, and design development.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, PE registration, and 8–11 years of transportation experience with DOTs.

In this role, you will provide engineering and consulting services for transportation projects and clients. This may include performing and/or leading field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, and recommendations, design and development of plans and specifications, observation and inspection, and the writing, preparation, and review of related reports for the services provided. Review drawings and construction activities to assure compliance with plans and specifications. Prepare proposals and cost estimates, track and evaluate project progress, budgets, and recommend changes. Research and resolve design and construction problems. Assign, review, and evaluate laboratory or field data for inclusion in reports. Apply sound engineering principles and be able to communicate complex engineering issues and concepts to technical and non-technical clients and project teams. Services may be provided for existing or proposed projects in the transportation sector. Project Management and/or technical leadership experience for large scale transportation projects is preferred, with the ability to manage all aspects of a geotechnical engineering project, including project teams, to verify that it is safely completed on time and within scope and budget.

The standard salary range for this position is $104,000-$161,500.The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
