Job summary

Qualifications

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior GCP Data Engineer to design, build, and support scalable cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data ecosystem, particularly BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Python, and SQL.

You will work with cross-functional engineering, analytics, and business teams to develop reliable data pipelines, optimize large-scale data processing, and help establish modern data engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and data modeling.
• Experience with GCP services such as Cloud Storage and Pub/Sub.
• Experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
• Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices for data platforms.
• Experience implementing data-quality, monitoring, and validation processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with healthcare, healthcare technology, or other highly regulated data environments.
• Understanding of PHI, data privacy, security, and governance.
• Experience with visualization and analytics platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Exposure to machine learning, AI, or data science workloads.
• Experience supporting high-volume, enterprise-scale data platforms.

What We re Looking For

We are particularly interested in engineers who have recent, hands-on experience building production data platforms on GCP. Candidates should be able to clearly explain how they have used BigQuery, Dataflow, Airflow/Composer, Python, and SQL to solve real-world data engineering problems.
