Job summary

Entagile LLC in the United States (McLean, VA area) is seeking a software analytics professional to design, develop, and support systems in financial modeling, analytics, and research. You will work on developing new code and reviewing changes to ensure standard technology practices are met.

The role involves assisting with operational execution to monitor and control market and credit risks, and supporting various areas of financial research by defining system requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field and 2 years of experience developing analytics software applications, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field and 5 years of experience developing analytics software applications.

Job description

• Design, develop, and support systems within the financial modeling, analytics, and research area.
• Design and develop new code and review existing code changes to ensure standard technology development practices are met.
• Assist in the operational execution of software solutions to assist with the monitoring and controlling of market and credit risks.
• Assist with application development and modifying and/or maintaining applications; Demonstrate knowledge of development tools and languages.
• Assist other areas of financial research and engineering when defining requirements for systems applications. Other duties as assigned.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering ,or related technical field and 2 years of experience developing analytics software applications, OR
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field and 5 years of experience developing analytics software applications,
• Experience or background in fixed income, account, or capital markets is a plus.
• AI experience, including using LLMs to build agentic applications, is a plus.
• Must be creative and able to deliver quick solutions.

Demonstrated knowledge of:

• quantitative finance

• Python data processing technologies, e.g. Pandas, NumPy
• Solid understanding of DB and SQL

Preferred experience:
