Job summary

TEEMA Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain web applications across front-end and back-end layers. You will work with React, TypeScript, Python, NodeJS, and microservices, ensuring scalable APIs and robust unit tests.

You will participate in CI/CD, code reviews, and documentation, collaborate with release engineers, and help implement AI-assisted development tools. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• Full Stack Developer capable of back-end and front-end work.
• 4+ years building web apps with React, TypeScript, JavaScript, JSON.
• 2+ years building microservices with Python or NodeJS.
• Strong knowledge of React UI/UX and JS frameworks.
• Experience with REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiar with Docker and package managers (npm, pip).
• Cloud-related training or certifications are a plus.
• Able to learn quickly in a fast-paced IT environment.
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills.

What you will be doing:

• You will design, develop, enhance, and maintain web applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in APIs.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns.
• Maintain working knowledge of technical enhancements and new functionality.
• Learn, adapt, test/evaluate, and implement new technologies.
• Strong knowledge in SQL and PL/SQL.
• Write and execute unit & integration tests.
• Coordinate with the release engineers to release new features and bug fixes into higher environments.
• Provide technical documentation for APIs.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD integration.
• Perform code reviews and ensure code quality.
• Communicate effectively with peers and leads.
• Participate and contribute on all team activities such as sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives.

What you must have:

• You must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• A Full Stack Developer responsible for a wide range of tasks – who can work on both the back-end and front-end of systems.
• Minimum of 4 years experience developing web applications using React, Typescript, Javascript and JSON.
• Minimum of 2 years experience developing microservices using Python, NodeJS, Swagger/Open Api 3.
• Strongtechnical skills in JavaScript UI/UX frameworks (React).
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React and Node.
• Strong programming skills (Python, Javascript). Strong knowledge of design patterns.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and automation platforms to improve software design, code quality, testing, documentation, and delivery efficiency.
• Experience using REST based or GraphQL APIs from single page applications.
• Have an understanding of authentication and authorization aspects for APIs.
• Have a good understanding of package managers (npm, pip).
• Have a working knowledge of Docker.
• Any formal Cloud based training and any industry cloud related industry accredited certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Well rounded individual capable of performing several roles with ability to work in a fast paced, complex IT environment.
• Personal qualities: Possess a strong work ethic, self-starter, creative, a focus on customer service, possess a high level of energy, enthusiasm, excellent written and verbal communication and people skills, sense of urgency, team player, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and commitment.
