Job Description

Sr. Financial Analyst for a long-term consulting position in Plano. This is an in-office position for a large logistics company. Consultant could possibly turn into direct-hire opportunity if the project continues to grow.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis.
  • Consolidate and analyze financial data including budgets, income statements, and forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain weekly income statements and perform analysis to support senior management.
  • Work closely with senior management and sales teams to incorporate KPIs into financial models to support various scenarios and outcomes.
  • Complete daily calculation and analysis of short-term cash flow projections.
  • Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports that enable management to control and analyze operations.

Requirements include:

  • 5+ years in Sr. FP&A role
  • Expertise using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong modeling and critical thinking skills
  • Professional demeanor with great communication skills
  • Self-motivated and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration, MBA a plus
